Hello everyone, I’m happy to be a part of this forum.
I’m in the market for a outdoors RV
I found one that I’m interested in and it’s quite a ways away so I I’m not able to go look at it. it’s a 2021 and it looks fine
I was just wondering if there is anything you might recommend I look for that might hinder my buying decision.
It does have a USA map on one of the walls that I noticed has about 60% coverage so it may be high mileage if that is any consideration.
Thanks for any and all replies.
Brian

If I was going to buy remotely and sight unseen, I would find a local to its location RV inspector and invest in a complete inspection. A 2021 probably wont be trashed and a waste of your money, but nothing beats a knowledgeable set of hands and eyes on your potential investment. Just my 2 cents, and welcome to the forum!

Would second the inspection by a certified inspector.

Even buying new we had one go through our coach before we bought. Very thorough and received a very detailed report of the items they found. In our case nothing major but worth the peace of mind.

Good morning,
Always ask to see copies of the ownership papers. You should be able to see a copy of the state registration AND copy of title. You always want to see the seller's name on the paperwork. Basically, it's theirs to sell and the paperwork is correct. The state the seller is in, will dictate where the title is. Some states send them to the bank, some send them to the owner with the lien typed on the front. If the title is at the bank, you probably will not see it ahead of time. Knowing there is a lien and having payoff info directly from the lender on a letterhead is what you will want to have. We have a list here if that helps.
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER give all the money directly to a seller with a lien. There are several ways to protect yourself. If we can help with that, let us know.
Buying something with a lien is not a bad thing. How it is handled is the key.
Also, we can help with finding a value if you want a hand with that.
Let me know how we can help.
Thank you,
Ken
