Hey all, just checking in. My name is Robert and I'm in the DFW area of Texas. Currently in the research phase trying to decide on the right trailer/RV/truck combination for my family this summer and beyond.

I own a Tundra but I'm going to change that out for a 1 ton if we decide on a 5th wheel, or maybe a 3/4 ton if we end up on a bumper pull TT.

This past weekend we have been doing the internet research on Class A options and are going to head up to some of the big dealers this weekend to check them out in person.

There are 6 of us, 4 kids, so whatever we decide on it will likely be pretty big.

If anyone knows anything about the Jayco Precept 36T, I'd love feedback, it caught my wife's eye.

Considering renting something for a weekend to see if that helps us decide.

Welcome from Georgia!

Welcome from Cincinnati OH.
You're doing the right thing by researching before buying.
Renting is a good option to learn if it's a good fit for you and your family.
Please don't take any salesperson word on if your tow vehicle can handle whatever travel trailer/5th wheel you are looking at but instead research as much as possible including what said tow vehicles "PAYLOAD" is instead of what the "Max Tow" is?
Good luck with your search!
