My husband and I just purchased a 2021 Forest River Wildwood Heritage Glen 308 RL Thinking of heading to Myrtle Beach in March. Is there a preferred campground that you would recommend? Have been boaters for 35 years and now transitioning from a large boat to a large RV. Hints or advice for new RVers?

Welcome to RVF, @Phoebe; glad to have you aboard. Congrats on the new RV and your decision to come ashore. I think you will find RVing similar to boating in many ways; a community of folks with a common interest, a lifestyle that allows moving easily from place to place, and solving the challenges of living in a relatively small space (compared to a sticks-and-bricks house).

We have been to MB only once, and that was about ten years ago, but I'll mention two parks: The first one is where we stayed called Apache Family Campground, and the second is Ocean Lakes. Apache was pretty tight but gets decent reviews. Ocean Lakes is huge and also gets decent reviews. Keep an eye out for kids in golf carts regardless of where you go.

Welcome from Georgia!
