Hey everyone! I am brand new to this and dont even own an rv yet but very interested in this lifestyle. When I retire in about 3 years or so we hope to become full time rvers and travel the country. I am starting here to just get ideas and tips and advice, pros and cons on the different types, rv brands, new vs used etc. looking forward to connecting with you all!

Welcome aboard! Doing your homework is always a great thing. Ask away your questions and you will get answers and suggestions.

Suggest the smaller you can get by with the better. It gives you more flexibility on the types of campgrounds you can get into and the ease of traveling through larger cities. Some NPS campgrounds are limited to 24-footers. Most depends on how much stuff you want to haul with you when you start traveling. And generally, you are traveling and not camping, unless you plan to boondock a lot.
We’ve put 140,000 miles (+10,000/yr) and have thoroughly enjoyed RVing, and we hadn’t RV’d before we retired. Good luck.
