we bought our first camper and absolutely cannot find an adapter to fit the round piece. Can anyone help with this?

You are showing a 4 prong and a 7 prong pigtail. The smaller 4 prong is for trailers that do not have electric brakes. The round 7 prong is for larger units that have electric brakes. Does you tow vehicle (the vehicle you are pulling your trailer with) have just the 4 prong? What make/model/year of trailer? What make/model/year of tow vehicle?

It’s a 2013 GMC Acadia with the 4 prong pulling a KZ coyote light with the 7 prong round wire. Would we have to install something different on the GMC in order for the electric brakes to work then?

And the camper is a 2008

Seems like the best course of action if you want to be sure those trailer brakes are working. I’d call a couple of local hitch shops. Should be a small job for them.
