new member here from north Dakota. my wife and I just purchased a 1994 Jayco fifth wheel camper as a fixer upper. I have a question as to putting blocks under springs to raise camper up a little bit in the back. When hooked to my pickup, which is only a 2003, I have to jack the front end up so high. Just wondering if anyone has done this or if you even can. Im afraid that if i get a newer pickup that is taller that this will only get worse.

I don't know if you can lower the 5th wheel or adjust the hitch on your camper. The springs maybe worn out on your camper due to age.

cant lower hitch any more than it is as it will make contact with top of bed on my pickup. Never thought about the springs being wore, might have to check into new spring.
