Welcome aboard! So you have yet to purchase but looking to something around 26 feet??? I assume a TT perhaps??? As to a tow vehicle……more than you think you need. Reason I say this, you will more than likely upgrade down the road to bigger or a different class like a fifth wheel and then your back to ground zero.
