Regarding recall 22V-584, LP tank service valve. I called the Newmar support group and was transferred to Stephanie who is the lead in providing information on this recall. She sent me two photo documents showing the valve and the problem and asked me to take a photo of the valve mounted on our Bay Star LP tank and send it to her so she could determine if we had a recalled valve. After sending her the photo she responded within the hour and advised that the valve on our 2022 Bay Star was not recalled. Very efficient and very helpful.

What?!
I called Newmar today and they directed me to a dealer. I will be calling Newmar tomorrow to see if I can also do this. At least they did agree to offset any lost propane if the valve had to be replaced (then I would gladly use a dealer) Thanks for posting this.

Some documentation on how to determine date of propane valve in the recall.

If I open it in ‘background’ or ‘split view’ it looks correct…..(something is wrong with the upload, this attachment is a pdf 15 pages long. When I click to open it, it is only one page very dark )
