My husband and I retired last year and in January 2022 we purchased a brand new Nexus Phantom 30P so we could travel. As to this date our new Nexus motorhome is unusable.
The dealership made us take it from their lot in March and told us not to bring it back on there lot and they would call us to have the peeling paint and rock chips fixed. We retained an attorney in March. The dealership finally called in May for paint repairs. The dealership before they forced us to take possession of the motorhome had already done two full repair work orders on it. We hired and independent inspector and he found water leaks, slide out seal torn, water damage and many more items. The motorhome has set since we purchased it, it only has 2000 miles on it because it was driven from Elkhart IN to Idaho. Since it has been setting mold has formed under the bed we have discovered the windows leak above the table so it can not be washed and the cargo boxes fill with water. Nexus in May said we had to preserve the integrity of the motorhome so in that case it makes it unusable.
Us being uneducated first time motorhome buyers wish we would have checked Nexus reviews and complaints and employee complaints(on indeed.com), and the dealership complaints on Yelp and BBB.
When you buy Brand New that is what you should receive. The purchase price of our motorhome is the same price I paid for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on 1/2 acre in 1984.

If there is anyone reading this and can give us some knowledge on how water is getting under the mattress when the exit window above it shows no visual leaks and there is no
water in the system. This is where the black mold is it is the wood above the water tank. We have had no rain for months and we have sprayed it with the water to check.
Thank you
