Question: When you have an observation cam and you are using it as a rear view mirror at night, do they usually have a function to darken or dim the headlights behind you like a rearview mirror can do?

Mine did not - at least that I know of.

May I ask what brand you are using?
Voyager, previously RVS.

Their is a brightness setting, but that, I believe is for the entire screen. I don’t know whether that would help or not.

Not sure I have seen that option on a camera system. My setup works great.

On my Voyager system, I just found a day/night and auto setting. See if there are similar in your settings. Perhaps the night setting will help.
