Do you have OnStar or some like equipped system in your toad? It can come in handy while RVing as I learned the other day getting myself into a situation with the keys in the toad and the doors getting locked. On top of that my cell phone was in the car as well. Luckily I have an Apple Watch (with cellular) but I think non cellular would have worked fine as long as in range of the phone but I pay the extra dues as the Apple Watch can save you in various scenarios such as getting locked out of your coach (it happens) or forgetting your phone. I digress....
Point is like any safety system TEST it. Learn it Know it. If you have the feature to unlock your doors or start your car, do it. Learn the steps from your phone and if you have a connected device such as an Apple Watch do it from your watch as well and learn the process. I was fortunate a few days ago to revisit using my watch to start my car while at home and was met with a prompt to refer to the phone to accept the terms.
One would think OnStar is Satellite backed but it's not, it's AT&T cellular. I was lucky I was in cellular range for my situation.
