I'm thinking of enrolling in the Open Roads toll tag program. I've looked on their website for information with no luck. I assume the toll tag is attached to the motorhome when towing and will register 5 axles (3 MH, 2 toad). When I get to my destination, and disconnect the truck, can I move the toll tag to the truck or do I need to get an additional toll tag?

I use EZPass, 5 axle for the RV. No clue on Open Roads program.

I called Open Roads. I can move it from vehicle to vehicle as long as the license plate number for each vehicle is registered.

Here is a website for information on the toll pass / transponder.

I have a Florida Uni pass which also works with Georgia’s peach pass system and ezpass. We travel the country and have found that the only tolls we encounter are on the each coast from Maryland to Massachusetts or New Hampshire.

Often I purposefully avoid tolls (like 90 in Indiana and eastwards). For us, as full timers it’s all about the journey and staying off the interstates is preferred.

I visited with Tara of Open Roads about their toll tag at the Tampa RV show. One question I haven't seen answered in their materials is about the actual charges they collect - normal discounted prices or non-tag retail penalty pricing. The good news is they only charge the discounted toll pricing. With that, I was reaching for my wallet when 'someone' grabbed me by my ear and started dragging me down the aisle to see something else. I'll sign up online before we head down another toll road.

Now I'm interested, what was so important to cause Jeanette to drag you down the aisle, or is that standard procedure since she drug you down the aisle to get married?

Best to find out what states/roads that will work on. My EZPass didn't work for me in parts of NY, MA, ME, & TX.
Does anyone else HATE "Toll by Mail"?

Yes. I'm not there to get the bill so I can't pay on time. Just integrate all the systems and call it a day.

I signed up while in a suburb of Rochester, NY this summer. Currently in Vero Beach, FL and the roads and path we took to get here didn't require any toll charges. So.... no toll charges to check the system out.

But approximately 1.5-2 wks ago, DW and I both received emails saying we owned money towards NY EZPass. We deleted the emails. The path we took in NY didn't require any toll to enter PA,

Are you staying at a private space or the one of the campgrounds Rt 1? Not much to choose from in Town. The is a new campground out on SR512/I95

I agree.... not a lot of options here! In town because Sister and BIL have a condo here. Staying at Encore Sunshine Travel just east of Rte 95 off the Sebastian exit. Just an ok park. Positive side is lot's of friendly neighbors and stuff to do here.
Stayed here 4 winters ago and likely last time wintering in Florida.

The Encore is probably nicest around town, enjoy your stay.

Just looked up your location for future areas that friends could stay at, didn't know about it. Thanks for the info. We are also in Sebastian for the next few months, enjoy the warmth.
