If I’m “parking lot” boon-docking one overnight and can not open my slide outs is it safe to use the propane furnace?

We do often. I doubt if there is any heat ducting in your slides. Your furnace will be more efficient as there will be less space to heat.

The only thing I would check is to be sure vents are not fully blocked when slides are in. I would want to ensure air will circulate at a decent flow through the furnace heat exchanger.

We do use ours without issues. Our front furnace is in our kitchen slide along with the ducting for it.

According to Gemini there are no furnace heat ducts in the slides of any Forest River 5th wheel models, especially as Forest River uses a flush floor design on slides. There is therefore not enough room in the floor cavity for flex duct or a boot to the register. Gemini goes on to say the Wildcat is designed so that when turtling ( dry camping w/slides retracted) no floor registers are blocked, but it does issue the caveat that there is the remote possibility a slide, when retracted, may hover over a floor register. You may want to verify that your slide(s) are not covering a floor register on the main floor. If not, you're all good.
