Any suggestions, tips or experiences that we need to see on our third trip in our RV? We have a 28 ft Forester Sunseekers and just the two of us. Thank you Linda

That’s a long swath of highway and a very broad question. ;)

Sadly, a lot of the places to go and things to see will likely be closed for a while yet due to Covid-19 restrictions.

I have heard that Texas city parks have camping. The key word here is heard, and with lockdowns and such I would spend time making sure.

The only part that will pose weather/snow challenges is the 40 though Flagstaff. Not to bad otherwise and have gone from Indiana to California in November and March.
Otherwise, the 10 is lower and warmer and not a problem.

Thank you. Never drove in mountains so I guess it's the unknown that is troublesome.

Driving safely in the mountains is primarily about good judgement and paying attention to the weather. When you are on the interstates, the long-haul truckers usually provide a good example. Just drive within your comfort zone and don't let others push you into doing something you are uncomfortable with.

How safe/easy is this route in the middle of February?
Thank you we are planning the southern route I10 then back on I40 in May or September. We moved to FL to get away from the cold and will do FL RV trips during winter. We have beautiful parks here and not retired yet. We do want to take once we retire the around the US plan hitting states during warmer climates. I appreciate the suggestions. Enjoy!!
