I'm in the market for a Newmar Ventana, preferably a 3412 model. Current or past owners of a Ventana, would you buy another if the money was not an factor?
I love my 2018 Ventana 3436 but if I were to have a do over and money wasn't a factor would probably go with a New Aire also. Or, because money isn't a factor, I'd probably pay off Newmar to build me a 34' King Aire...
I like my Ventana. I like that my electric slides don’t break my tiles. I like that I get the extra storage from not having a side radiator. I like that many things are not electronically controlled or motorized as it’s less things to break and most repairs are cosmetic only and simple to handle on my own.
If money was no object though, I’d buy a Newell, Marathon or a Foretravel have every inch of it built to my specifications. If money were no object but I had to buy a Newmar, I’d buy either a Dutchstar or Essex.
I am with Neal, if money was no object, would jump into the 35' New Aire. I want more power, the 360 is gutless. Yes, to slides not breaking tile. Hate the carpet but don't think tile would be great option, pergo or vinal alont and under Theater Seats. And the All Electric Option was our decision maker, did not ever want anything to do with propane appliances again, in an RV. In house different story.
While the New Aire is certainly a luxury model, one item to consider is all electric vs. propane. While I have no experience with propane and I chose my 40ft VTDP because it's all electric, it's one less thing for me to worry about both in running out of propane, as well as safety.
Even though we have sold our Ventana 4369, I voted anyhow. We will eventually transition back into a sticknbrick so whatever RV we end up with will be stored for 6 months out of the year. Thinking ahead to that day, if money was not a consideration, a 43' Ventana would probably be the only RV I would purchase.
The only thing I didn’t like about my Ventana was the carpet they put along the slide area. @MapNerd showed how he got rid of the carpet somewhere on the forum. I added Koni shocks to the front to smooth out the ride as CA has some rough roads. Otherwise it was a fine coach.
