Good afternoon all,

I am currently building a toy hauler I have an enclosed trailer. I am wondering instead of installing a black water tank if I can just use a portable waste tank since I’ll only be camping for a day or two? Does anyone have any advice or see any reason why this would not work? Thanks

Sounds like a cassette toilet

You can but you may have ranger problems. You will need knife valves to keep waste from hitting the ground. Personally I like the maserator idea best with a small tank. On the BLM LTVA it is required to have a 15 gal tank unless you are within a short distance of the restroom facilities.

I sometimes use a compost toilet system, but you will need to do some work to accomplish that.
