We have a 2020 winnebago micro minni 2106DS. It is in need of a new battery/batteries. MY TV is a 2020 1500 silverado 4x4 with the new 3.0 L diesel. Tows great. I was thinking about switching to 2 golf cart batteries but some think it may be too heavy?? The original battery weighs right at 50lbs. I want more amp/hrs than I currently have. The golf cart batteries I see at batteries plus weigh from 60-64lbs. Would adding 70 lbs to the tongue make that much difference??
Thanks

You would have to look at the tongue weight on your micro Minnie, and the ratings on the truck and see how much room you have. More tongue weight can affect handling, but a relatively small increase if you have plenty of margin already probably wouldn't be a big issue.

Battery or batteries? About 90% or more of the battery(s) weight will be added to the tongue weight. You will likely need to adjust the WDH settings. Also, you will need to check the cargo weight rating of the tow vehicle to see that it is not exceeded.

It might actually improve handling.
