Hello all. We recently purchased a 2023 Precept 36C and had a question about inverter and the residential fridge while driving. When we are driving and have the inverter on, that is what is powering the fridge. I assume the engine on the RV is keeping the batteries topped off while driving so the inverter keeps working and in turn, the fridge keeps working? I cannot seem to find a clear answer on that on Jayco's site.

Also as second part of this question, does anyone have experience with how long the fridge will run on just the inverter/batteries if we are parked not plugged into shore power?

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

To avoid bias on my part, I will start this way.

Appears you have a 190w panel on the roof.
Depending on the fridge model, how full it is, the efficiency of the inverter, ambient temperature, your fridge will stay running???hours. Oh yes! And how long you stand in front of it choosing your refreshment. Bottom line is no one can give you the answer you seek, as there are to many variables.

Most RVs charge the house bank while the engine is running.
