Is it OK to put screen over the reefer vent cover/lover to keep out bugs and wasps?

I am assuming you are talking about a 2/3 way reefer and vent is located on sidewall of the RV. Putting a screen on inside of vent would be ok, just make sure it doesn’t contact any of the components

Yes, upper and lower sidewall vent.
There is plenty distance from reefer components and the vent/cover.
I was looking for advise as to whether a screen (like screen door material) would reduce air flow.
Thanks

I don't think window screen material will significantly reduce air flow; at least not enough to create venting issues. If you have a choice, use the coarsest screen available that is compatible with keeping out the bugs you are concerned about. In our case, Yellow Jackets are the primary critter of concern, so a coarse screen would work fine.

Yes. Found wasp nest in both upper and lower section.
Thanks

I have put screens on every entry, with no problems.
