Figure there are a few of you on here already living the life. What are some retirement consulting resources you guys used? We've spoken with our financial advisor; he knows the money side but we are having difficulty finding healthcare advisors. The issue is we are both a little young for Medicare (wife is younger than I am) and need to bridge the gap without breaking the bank. Any suggestions?

That is a touch one. We were paying through the nose, until Medicare age. Previous company insurance became unaffordable. When my wife retired prematurely to care for her father, our health insurance was twice my MH payment, more than our original home mortgage.

Interested to hear what others have done.

I am doing COBRA for the 18 months. Best I could do on price and we have good coverage. My time will run out two months before 65 (2023). Andrea turns 65 before me so Medicare for her. I will need to find coverage for myself for a couple of months.
