We are off to Florida tomorrow to look at an 05 Bounder. its a 5.5 hour trip one way so we are taking sheets in case we need to spend the night.

Theres also an 04 Southwind and a pretty nice 05 Southwind in the area if the Bounder doesnt pan out.

The Southwinds are more money, but they are both really nice.

Just curious, one of those isn't in the Frostproof area is it?

Well, the AM road trip South turned into a PM road trip North.

Left the house at 3PM heading to a little town just North of Athens GA.

We bought a 06 Fleetwood Flair. Workhorse chassis, 3 slides, 35', which happens to be the distance from the eve of my garage to the sidewalk.

Its in nice condition, 37,000 miles, tires were new last June. The PO bought it from Camping World and they put new skins on. It needs shocks, stabilizer and a rear sway bar. I had my hands full going through Atlanta in a new rig, at night, in the rain with a bunch of big trucks doing 70mph blowing by me. We got back home at 11;30.

This weekend we are going to give it a good cleaning and next week we are going to a local county park for the week. Its close to home, low cost and we can set it up with shore power and learn how all the systems work. I can also make a list of what I need to do before we head West in May.

Welcome from Georgia!

Congrats. It’s been interesting following your pursuit.

Spent the day on exterior cleaning. The PO owned the coach for 10 months. Im guessing there were no cleaning supplies bought or consumed.

The roof, windows and slide seals are in excellent condition, the paint is still very good and the decals are in good condition, some fading but no cracks or delam. The exterior had a lot of mold and mildew on the gelcoat, I got 90% of that off with Mold Armor deck patio and fence wash. Spray on/rinse off. I figure two more exterior washes before I have it 100% clean.

Congrats. Let the adventures begin
