My friend (single female) has a 2008 Chaparelle that has floor rot in the slide floor. She is a full time stationary RVer with a full time job as a stewardess so she is gone overnight often. She contacted a local dealer about repairs and they said they would have to remove the slide and take it to their shop for a couple of weeks to repair. Obviously, for security reasons, that is not a great option. Looking for ideas. She is located in western Washington state, so rain could also be an issue, although plastic would help that. Thanks

A friend just had this done at the factory. Yes they removed the slide to rebuild the bottom. It took ten days.
