Hi all, I just purchased a new East To West Silverlake by FR. My lower awning arm doesn't retract all the way in like the other side. I'd hate to take it to the dealer to get it fixed. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Look up both sides to see if it is binding somewhere. This often can happen if the awning material has shifted. When the awning is fully extended, seeif the material is center at the coach end and at roll end. You may have to adjust it.

On my previous coach the material would shift. One thing I used to do was put the awning most of the way in. Then stand on a step stool and push th arm maybe 6-10 inches flush against the coach and releasing it. Then I complete the retraction.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.
