I have cleaned and thrown away everything in freezer and frig. It still smells rotten. Any suggestions on what causing?

Did you use a disinfectant cleaner like PineSol, Lysol or similar?

Put an open box of baking soda in there.

Sounds like you may be smelling leaking propane gas. It smells like garbage. Shut your propane tanks off and see ft it goes away.

Thank you for the reply but All that was done. Thhere is obviously something going on to cause the smell. The smell seems to be freezer area only. . I need suggestions on where to start to fix that issue.

Frig running on electrical. Thank you for reply though

Try placing a box of baking soda in the freezer and after a few days, keep the door open if not in use.
