So I get an email around Thanksgiving from RV Life saying they were having a half off sale, one year for $32.50. On Black Friday, I signed up.
Since IRV2 is down I hope someone can help me with this because the "dog doesn't hunt".
Here's what I want to do, create a trip on my computer then use the app (Android) on a tablet to navigate to it. Easy Peasy
I created my first trip, it's kinda clunky if you ask me. I'm going from my house near Haslet, TX across DFW to a new park to us in Grand Saline, TX. A very simple 100ish mile trip we have made many, many times. We've learned to go all the way through FTW to I-20 and across. It is the lesser of the evils in crossing DFW. We take 287 to I-35 to I-20 and exit in Canton.
I create a trip simply going from my home address to the RV Park address. First thing the trip planner wants us to do is take 183 across and go through downtown Dallas. Well that's not going to happen, ever.
So I drag the route around like I like it and all is well. The next day I need to run to FTW so I open the app and click on GPS, it wants me to create a trip. Nope
I open trips and it's right there, I click navigate it calcs it, deletes all my waypoints and routes me through downtown Dallas. The only way I can get it to work correctly is to navigate from one waypoint to the next one at a time. Nope
Am I doing something wrong? Is this normal? HELP the 7 day trial is running out in a few days.

Yes, their website is down for a software update until Thursday.
The app works the way you found, you select each stop in the trip tab to navigate to it. Many times it just requires a single waypoint to make the route move, check to see if you can simplify the waypoints to only use one or 2.
Typically I just throw on a fuel stop and just skip it when I get to that exit and my bride selects the next stop on the app.

I had the same problem trying to avoid the GW Bridge and I-95 in NY.....Dragging the route is very difficult as it does not always drag to exactly where you want...you need to zoom way in and even then you have to correct and re-correct Rather than that, I found that if you select the route you want by searching it, for example The Mario Cuomo Bridge or I-287 in Morristown NJ and adding it as a custom stop on your route, that way it must navigate there and will avoid your trouble spot. The only downside is you have to end the route and select the next leg when you reach the custom stop. Supposedly that will be corrected soon, but who knows. Good Luck and Safe Travels
