I find this funny but sadly true of a lot of states.

I have been on Interstates where I thought a entrance and exit inspection was needed to see if anything fell off or broke, by the time I got to my exit.

Interstate 75 in GA is horrible and it takes you right into Florida where you get to pay to drive. And the irony of it all is the signs that say "Your toll dollars at work" as you bust an axle in the pothole that you didn't see because your eyeballs are still jiggling around from the last few holes you hit.

If you think I-75 in Georgia is "horrible" then you haven't driven in Ohio and Michigan or Illinois any time recently.

So where does all of the toll money go? Probably dangerous to answer that question here. So just ponder.

Where does the toll money go that was supposed to pay for maintaining the roads? Same place the gasoline taxes went that were instituted in the 1970's that we're still paying to this day. We're sending it over seas to foreign Dictators rather than using it to repair our roads. Maybe you saw the pallet of money our former President sent to Iran??? I think they needed some roads paved or something......... ?

I was up in Ohio a few weeks ago. What do they do with the tax money they get for roads? They don't use it on the roads.
Ohio beat me to death. I knew I crossed back in to WV because the beating stopped. Gees and I thought West Virginia was bad.

Ohio is God awful. Michigan is worse. My friend from Illinois says he thinks its even worse over there if you can imagine.

Oh man...you had to drag me in on this didn't you. I'll see your Ohio and raise you a California. We pay the highest road taxes and have some of the worse roads. Where's the money go? Well...I could tell you, but then I would be banished to only MeWe for my forum fix. Government waste is growing faster than the marijuana industry in Santa Barbara County. And we already pay a dollar more per gallon than the rest of the Country. HA...got that off my chest ?
