Traveling from Savannah Georgia to Columbus Ohio. Need advice on the safest route. I have the app RV Life with gps safe routes. Gave me two safe routes. How is I 26 to Asheville North Carolina? Verses I 75 thru Atlanta and up? Driving class A Holiday Rambler Endeavor 38' w/ tow. 460 with Banks system. Thanks everyone in advance for your advice ?

our preference would be i-26. Have taken that route many times in the past on the way to the Midwest

X2 on the I-26 route. If given a reasonable option to avoid Atlanta, I will take that option everyday of the week. Plus, it's good road.

Yes I would avoid Atlanta if possible. I-26 is good, the only section I know of is about 30 miles from Hendersonville to Asheville is being widened. We come through there about every other week. Usually not too bad especially if you can avoid rush hour.
