Without seeing your trailer, look at the slide from the outside. There is probably a circle cut out with a plastic insert in it near the bottom. You should have a crank handle that would be inserted and cranked to either open or close it PROVIDED you have slide outs like mine........
Our 2016 Wildwood XL 253RLXL has two metal aluminum tracks on the side of the slide, fore, and aft. The brand name for the slide mechanism escapes me for the moment. The procedure is to loosen the gear motor screws at the top on each side of the slide-out, lift up each of the gear motors to disengage the shaft, and manually push the slide in or out. Never done this and hope I never have to do this. It doesn't look like any fun.
