I always test things out before a major trip, tested the emergency exit door today and closed it up, it seems kinda sloppy, not a real tight closure, no adjustment in the latch or deadbolt, never noticed this before, anyone else notice slop in there door?

Mine does not always catch the deadbolt…it can be hard to push it in far enough to latch. But it stays otherwise.

My door was found warped and damaged at delivery and had to be completely replaced. It was a major ordeal, as they also had to repaint it. It turned out fine.

I suspect the deadbolt is garbage, with the bolt extended you can wiggle it back and forth a 1/4", all the screws are tight.

Have adjusted ours several times. The last time (March) I filed the strike plate a little. I noticed about 2 weeks ago after 7200 miles it is not latching again. Poor design, too much flex in the door to jamb relationship.
