Question Small fused black wire

I have an '06 Flagstaff Forest River 625d popup. There are four wires that go to the battery...a red, a black and a white as well as a fused small black wire. What is that small wire for and what size fuse do I put in it?

One way, check every light and every appliance including the CO and LP and Smoke detectors. You will likely find something that doesn't work. Then put in a 3 to 5 amp fuse and see what works. Just remember it is something that requires 12V to function.

You could writeto FR on their customer service page. Is CO detector working with no fuse in there?
