I'm guessing that your coach does not have mascerating toilets, @Jim. With gravity toilets, it isn't nearly as critical though TP that doesn't break up can (in rare occasions) cause a clog in the pipes.I'm glad @Wrl1605 started this thread because I've been confused about this for awhile. We use the RV paper we get a WalMart, but what difference does it really make? The paper goes through the toilet and into a holding tank and from there into a sewer/septic tank. So what difference does it make to the RV how the paper desolves?
lol, got it!I'm guessing that your coach does not have mascerating toilets, @Jim. With gravity toilets, it isn't nearly as critical though TP that doesn't break up can (in rare occasions) cause a clog in the pipes.
With mascerating toilets, paper that doesn't break down easily wraps around the grinder blades and requires that you disassemble the unit to clear the problem. And, it is a sh__ty job!

I’ve had this happen once in three years. We had no sewer hookup and the macerated toilet was on low flush. DW used TP, but didn’t add water before flushing and thus we had a clog. Fortunately, it was the rear bath toilet with easy access from the emergency door. With mascerating toilets, paper that doesn't break down easily wraps around the grinder blades and requires that you disassemble the unit to clear the problem. And, it is a sh__ty job!

That's the best news I've heard in awhile. Love Charmin! We have tested Charmin UltraSoft (NOT Charmin UltraStrong) and it passed.
