I bought a 40 erb explorer with solar panels. Do I need to do anything to have the solar panels charge the lithium batteries.
 
Yes. You need a good solar charge controller that is capable of providing the correct charge levels for bulk, absorption, and float charging. Recommend a Victron MPPT and look at specs to determine the correct one. A little research goes a long way. Are your panels 12v ?

Something like this but you need to know your max voltage and amperage to make sure it’s within spec. Depends on your panels.

To little information! Are you saying you bought an RV with installed solar?
