Well guys I just sold the RV a couple days ago. With the market the way it is I could not help but test the waters. It sold for about 20% more then what I paid for it. Deducting what I did to it I made about 10% give or take. Now I’m looking at what I can get my hands on, but may have to wait until the bubble pops.

Congrats (I hope) - this market is amazing. If you can share how you listed, how were those that contacted you, how was the experience overall, as some have had bad experiences. Can you educate others on how to go about this and succeed as you did?

Congrats!

All I used was Facebooks Market Place. Provided a detailed description and plenty of pictures with it super cleaned. The only contact you have is with Facebook Messenger until you are ready to give them more info for a potential buyer to come look at it. I had mine listed for about 2 weeks. You can see how many people looked at the listing and how many people saved the listing. When I saw there were quite a few saves but no contact I lowered the price a couple thousand and then I stated getting messages. It seems most people will not contact until the price starts to drop so I listed higher then what I really wanted, but not too high. At the time of sale I had 3 definite buyers so if one did not show with the money I had 2 backups.
I did the same thing with my brothers boat not to long ago with the same result. I had people messaging from all over the country.

The best thing is it is all free.

Well guys I’m back in it again. Twila and I found a travel trailer that needed sprucing up a little. We’re going to clean it up and use it for a while. Twila loves the front kitchen arrangement. I’ll kind of update things like I did with the class A we had and see what happens.
