I came to DC in 1974 and forgot to leave. I’ve had a good life and good career here. I do love living in the city.
A little more than a year ago, I sold the home I had lived in for 25 years, paid my debts and moved into an apartment where I’ve been cooped up ever since.
It took me a while to feel comfortable with the idea, but I’m hitting the road, and I’m excited about it. I haven’t bought a motor home yet but I know what I want. A roughly 30 foot Class A. I’ve been doing research, and getting advice from an old friend who has been living and traveling in his Vegas for almost two years now and loves it.
I’ll be riding solo, and I’m sure to be back on here frequently, asking a lot of rookie questions and sharing my experiences, one day at a time. I’m grateful this forum is here and look forward to being part of the community.
