We are looking for some suggestions on places to stay and just general suggestions when taking a longer trip. We are in the Houston area and headed to Hot Springs AR, then the Ozarks, the Smokey Mountains with a destination of Pinehurst NC. We have only been RV owners for about 6 months and this will be our first road trip. Any suggestions on RV parks, site seeing or anything else we might miss on our first long trip would be welcome!!

If you make it up to Maine visit christies campground in Newport! Gorgeous there and a ton of amazing things to do around location

@D&CMirada Take a look at Catherine's Landing in Hot Springs, we have stayed there several times. It's out go to spot when in Hot Springs. You mention the Ozarks. Ozarks Luxury RV Resort is a place I've only reviewed on the web but it looks like a nice place.

Check out Deer Springs RV park in Franklyn NC. Home . GREAT place!

Just did a long trip. Don't miss Nashville. Four Corners RV is wonderful. On the lake and people are so nice.

Have a wonderful time on your first long trip. I'll echo the comment that Catherine's Landing is a beautiful resort in Hot Springs; Ozarks Luxury RV Resort is one of our favorite Parks; and if you get to Nashville, they don't get any better than Elm Hill RV Resort. We've started at all three and we have reservations to go back again in 2022. They are all on a lake and are top tier RV Resorts. Enjoy!! .
