Due to numerous issues with Tapatalk it has been removed from this forum'ware as it is not needed. This web site is fully mobile friendly (responsive) and will provide a far better experience when used directly.

How to Add a Website to the Home Screen on iPhone and Android

Put websites on your Android or iPhone home screen for quick access.

I did this on my iPhone by opening Safari and going to https://rvforums.com then tapping the box with up arrow (share button) and chose Add to Home Screen. If it shows a label of "App" (it should show RVForums) change it to what you want then tap Add.

On my Android (Samsung Galaxy S10+) I use Google Chrome and navigated to RVForums.com. From there I tapped the menu (3 vertical dots on my device) and then selected Add to Homescreen and that creates and saves the "bookmark" icon to launch the site like any other app. Take note at the bottom of Google Chrome the prompt to enable browser notifications for instant notifications of activity related to your content.

Here are a few tips to help those that used Tapatalk to transition to the mobile interface which is actually more robust as it offers the full capabilities of this forum'ware not limited by only what Tapatalk offered in their integration.

To add any web site to your home screen here are the easy steps, shown on an iPhone (haven't done Android yet) which involve going to the web site, tapping the share button, then adding it labeled as you want.

Note: The label for this bookmark will now default to RVForums for you.

Keep in mind you can save any URL to your home screen so if you like landing on the what’s new area consider saving that as your start page if you want. I personally use the home page. But this can be done however you want.

For those that already added the web site bookmark to your mobile devices prior to April 20 9 PM Eastern you may want to delete it and create it again as I styled up the icon a little better for this use. Just delete the "bookmark" like any other app on your device then follow the steps to add it again and you'll see the difference once re-added.
