I have been itching to replace the original 46” TV with a 4K 50” model. By my measurements it will fit? They sell now for under $400.
The big problem is fishing a new HDMY V4.0 60 HZ cable.
I have no idea if it is even possible? If anyone has an idea, I’m all ears ?

Go for it. Report back! :) If I am replacing any TV's they'll be Samsung QLED.

If you buy two, and give me one, you may get a better deal

Please reply with credit card number. Is it a MasterDebt of Visa?

What’s the problem? How to go about it? If it were me, I’d just take some twine and tie one end my new cable to the end of the old one, then go to the other end of the old cable and get to tugging. Pulling out the old cable will feed in the new.

I thought about it John,
But with my past experience working on the coach, they most likely have tie wrapped the cable in few places?
I had to replace the TV antenna control box by the passenger . It comes with 6-8” pig tail with two coax connectors.
The TV technician gave upand told me “ I can not get to the connectors without cutting the wall” and left.
I got my borescope, and found connectors tie wrapped to the aluminum beam down inside the wall.
I fixed it, but also run out of curses for the idiot that did it.

Is your elevator in the front, passenger-side slide-out? Ours is and the receiver et al are in the cabinet above it. If yours is like ours, the HDMI cable can't be very long. I'm guessing that if you remove the HDMI wall plate, the cable is probably just drops down to where it enters the televator compartment. When you have the old TV out, you could have room to easily fish a new cable in.

TJ,
Wish it was that easy. The AV cabinet is above the driver’s head, and Televator is behind the sofa on the passenger side between the kitchen and passenger seat. I’m guessing I will need about 20’ long cable?

OK; your coach is different from ours. Would a wireless HDMI extender bridge the distance? I'm not much of an electronics geek, so that might not be an option either. Might be worth a look, however.

I thought about the wireless idea, but I’m not even sure if it exist such a thing? Will have to ask Google ?
