After perusing multiple websites about New Orleans…..I decided to bypass The Big Easy. Which meant totally rearranging our route, and cancelling numerous RV parks that had been confirmed. Also learned one cannot go inside anywhere w/o a vaccination card…(we have chosen not to be vaccinated). Plus Louisiana DOT requesting no travel on I10 except for emergency vehicles.
Once again Mother Nature reigns supreme.
Hopefully prepaid reservations will be refunded, we’ll see.

Sorry to hear that your plans got disrupted due to Ida. And at the risk of pouring salt in the wound, we were fortunate enough to spend the first week in May at Grand Isle SP (for our 50th anniversary) and it was great. It was out first trip to Louisiana and were pleasantly surprised.
We're so sad seeing pics of the park today. What a shame.
