Imagine the struggles trying to find workers and all the training involved. It’s little wonder that there is a concern over quality control for both chassis & house.

To @J&JD point, unemployment is very low in Elkhart County which I am told has the highest concentration of RV manufacturers.

Hope they are saving up for a rainy day. There’s always a storm on the horizon.

Agreed. But they're making it while they can. Kind of like the AOL growth back in the beginning of the Internet. They grew so fast, market was out of control. Remember those free AOL DVD's you could pick up in every big outlet? And now, they're just a shell of themselves.

But that said, I'll bet the ranch that the folks at the top did well.

By most regular folks standards, they do well even in the hard times. That said, I’m no advocate for eating the rich.

Wonder how many of those fast production units are going back for warranty issues

Who is gonna fix em under warranty ? You are if its gonna get fixed. My 2021 Thor motor coach has no warranty just sent in a bill for $850.00 to thor for more than $2000.00 worth of repairs in the first year and all was denied. Yes we went to the dealer first and second and third, no comment. I did all repairs myself and thought that was a great deal, documented and pics of all work. Everything done like it was yours. That means pride in workmanship. Im taking RV repair training classes again every week. I can see Im gonna need them. As far as the Ford chassis its pretty good, only trouble I have had with that is what The builder destroyed while they had it. I would suggest every body who buys a motor home hire your full time mechanic first. Or take three years of RV repair training then buy it. You will need it. Something has got to change in quality control in the RV industry. It has gone down hill for the past 25 years. I have been repairing and restoring them with my dad for over 40 years.

Or Keystone Fusion or Rvision or Discovery or Reflection or sportscoach or Coachman well thats a few bought in the family. The more they cost the more to fail. On a good note the thor has no slide out to leak and destroy itself and very few buttons. Anybody want to trade a one year old power awning for a man one ? I have yet to break a man awning but have replaced motors on four power awnings and cut one off with a razor knife. OK I will be nice now. It will take a lot more than me to better the RV industry in build quality.
