Tiffin Recall's

My unit is a 2009 Tiffin Phaeton 40qth and in the process of repairing a windshield wiper issue that occurred on my trip to Key West, I found that the wiper arms were the subject of a recall. This wiper arm recall was back in 2016, but I was surprised to find that my coach, which I bought used, had never had the recall taken care of.

• Windshield wiper arm recall. (Tiffin)
• Adjustable brake pedal (Freightliner 800-385-4357) recall RC11V452
• Flush Floor Slide. A lippert part needs to be installed.

If you have a similar unit, you may want to check to see if there are any uncompleted recalls. Tiffin said they will mail the wiper arms to me but the other issues need to be taken up with the responsible parties.

If you email Tiffin ([email protected]) the last 6 digits of your VIN, they will send you information on any open recalls. When I did it they responded the next business day. Great service! We had one open recall for the fire extinguishers.
