My 2017 Canyon Star has the original tires and when getting serviced, I was told they could not be rotated because they were out of service date and need replaced. The shop said they were manufactured in 2014. Would Newmar put 3 yr old tires on a new RV?

7 Years is the usually the standard for replacement and looking at your tires in the pics, I would be a little concerned with the cracking that they have on the sidewalls. But back to your question, I have a 2019 Newmar London Aire and the date codes are from late 2017. I was not happy when I found that out. 8 of those big boys are over $8000

And not sure you can blame Newmar... Chassis comes from Ford. Still surprised to see tires that old on there. They do need to be replaced by the looks of them.

I thought for sure that Newmar would use yard tires while building, guess I was wrong.

The F53 chassis and the DP chassis are completed by the supplier and delivered to Newmar. I am very surprised that Ford would deliver a chassis with three year old tires. Something tells me this is a dealer switch.

I agree. Something doesn’t seem right...

Our coach went into production 9/2019, date code 8/2019.

And that is the way I think it is. How much wait time is there on a coach now days. I would guess the first job on the build list is order parts from supplier. 6mos, 12mos, maybe before the build actually starts.

Just replaced the 7 year old Michelins on our 28Z. They had 5,000 miles on them.
