Warning!? That means a tornado has been sighted. I would definitely get to cover. something besides the RV. underground, interior, etc. I've seen cinderblock buildings destroyed by small tornadoes

This is seriously keeping me on alert. Normally rv parks do not have anything else available except the bathrooms.

We had a tornado just miss us in Kansas (tornado alley). The rv park was required to have a tornado strength shelter. In this case we ended up in their car wash that was a large concrete building that handled all the people in the full campground.

If we're camping in the area that is at a time of year prone to tornadoes (in May in the South, for sure!), we need to check around to see where we would go in case of a warning.

I will need to check tornado shelters during rv Park travel details. The weather can change in any moment during travel time. Have a bug-out bag ready.

I look at my radar weather app (RadarScope for PC, Android and Apple) and see where the tornado actually is. If it's not heading for me or it's past my location I just keep a close eye on the radar. If it actually is heading for me I go to the shelter, bathrooms etc. You have to know where you are, and you don't want to be wandering around trying to find the best possible shelter.

Also Twitter will give current weather info and discussion at #(state)wx. For me right now, that's #mswx

We use a severe weather app. There are several out there.
