We bought another RV a 2008 Winnie Aspect on E450 Ford. My son's car is not 4 down towable and is front-wheel drive. He is looking at the tow dolly. My question is there a requirement to have additional taillights since the tow dolly has tail lights? If they are required we think of just using magnetic lights.

In most (if not all) states if the taillights are visible from the rear (usually refering to the tow vehicle) you don't need additional lights. If the dolly has lights too and either set of lights is visible, you are legal. But I would suggest/agree a magnetic light kit mounted on the back of the car is best because more lights means better safety (prevention) and more room to argue your due diligence in the event of an accident.
