In my past life I did a lot of racing. Got out when we had my youngest daughter.

Fast forward, we are making a comeback and my older daughter is going to drive also. I used to tow a multi car trailer with my 450 or the like. However, I want to have a coach at the track. Has anyone towed a stacker with their rig. I have a 43' Dutch. Not worried about power, as slow and steady is fine for driving. I am more concerned with how an A class behaves with a 22 foot or so stacker trailer. Anyone have any first hand experience?

I am also looking to purchase a Super C to just use for this adventure. But if I can combine and save a few coins, I may try the DS as the tow rig.

Thanks in advance.
Mike

Towed 24' Stacker loaded to about 15K total with my DS 4018 - 450 with absolutely no issues. Previous Coach a 38' -380HP Monaco rear radiator would overheat regularly with same trailer. Got tired of having to deal with parking/storing trailer in our travels so now just flat tow pickup and haul whatever else in back of pickup including my Street Glide on a rampage lift.

Did not even think about temps on the coach. I have the side radiator too, so that is fine. I was more interested in how the rig handled. Did it push the coach around? Did you feel like you lost any stability? Thanks for the input.

Never an issue stability, stacker was triple axel. Wheelbase on our 40' DS was even shorter than yours so I doubt handling would be an issue and it would stop even shorter with the trailer brakes vs. coach alone.
