Hi All,

Wondering if US-20 from Casper, WY to Cody, WY would be OK for our Travel Trailer.

Here is what we have: Truck: 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500HD, Crew Cab, Duramax 6.6L V-8 Diesel, Diesel Exhaust Brake, Allison 10 speed transmission, 4x4 with the Z-71 off-road package.

Trailer: 2021 Grand Design Transcend Xplor 260RB. Total length 31' 6". Max Weight 7,695 lbs.

Total Combined Length: About 52 feet.

My main concerns are switchbacks that our truck & trailer would be too long for and excessively steep, long downgrades.

My experience: I have driven gasoline tankers for 25 plus years over all types of terrain and in all types of weather. Travel Trailer not so much.

All replies will be appreciated.

Thank you .......... TucsonJack
