Hello, new to the Forum but RVing for 30 years. I own a good sized custom hauler motorhome, International 4300. I pull my 45ft boat that is 12ft wide and 12 tons with a wideload permit between Wisconsin & Florida, I have done the trip a dozen times without any issues .
I was thinking of a 39ft destination trailer, 2021 Forest River Sandpiper 393 for over the road RVing, I am aware the destination trailer intended use.
I would consider upgrading the axles, tires and brakes if needed. This trailer weight about 7 tons and my truck is capable of pulling 20 tons.
I am seeking anyone has tried or heard of a simular situation and has any experiences to share. Thank you!

There is nothing wrong with your plan. These trailers are heavier and have more things to put away before moving, but are not as stay in place as a park model is.

A typical use scenario is 1 to 4 moves a year, but nothing prevents these from being moved more often.
