Hello this is DGA I am new to this website and I need some help with my 2006 Winnebago sun cruiser Itaska. I think my water heater is leaking. One question I have how do I get the winterization knobs off so I can get that panel off to look at the water heater?

Welcome @DGA to the forum. I suggest you start a new thread reference your issue with your water heater, this will allow others to find doing a search. Also if you post picture of the knob you’re wanting to remove and where you think it might be leaking.

Sorry I can't help with your Winnebago but I wanted to say Welcome from Georgia!

Thank you EZ, from Georgia. It appears we need a new water heater and have been informed it is not available.

What kind of water heater is it? Electric and Propane? What brand? Model number? From looking at water heaters in all the RV's I've seen there are only a couple manufacturers for water heaters so it seems if one model was discontinued there should be another similar model that would work. Just because it isn't the exact model doesn't mean it wont fit or won't work. Find out as much info as you can about the one you have, then start looking for similar model water heaters that fit other brand motor homes from the same era. I think you'll find a lot of over lap from RV brand to RV brand. Same with refrigerators and A/C units. There were only a couple manufacturers of these items so everybody used the same handful.

Try to give us some more info and we'll help you look.
