We have a 28z. We also have a blind dog. She has taken a couple of tumbles down the steps. So I'm building her something to slide into place so she won't fall and has somewhere to lay by the door when we are outside.

Thanks a great idea, my dog also has vision issues and has taken a tumble. What product did you use?

1/2" plywood and quarter round. Filled, sanded and painted.

You're a good doggie dad!

We got our first motor home because of our Shepherds. We were getting ready for a trip to Moab and felt it would be easier on everyone, dogs included, if we bought a motor home and nixed the idea of staying in motels along the way.

At least, that was the excuse I used when talking Trish into the idea. :)

I made the first one without getting design approval from The Director of Finance and Sex. It was redone in a more robust version.

Oh, I see. I assume it's a much harder/stiffer design at this point?

First one was 1/4 inch plywood. That one is 1/2 inch. I can stand on it.
