Well hello everybody I'm new to the website. I'm also new owner of a used national dolphin and I was going to repair the two fogged windows on the pilot and the co-pilot windows. Come to find out my windows do not have a metal retaining ring on the inside of the RV it has a rubber insert that goes around and seals on the inside there is a double stick tape on the window frame that supposedly holds the window in place. I cannot find this tape anywhere please can somebody help thank you in advance

If this double stick tape you mention is on the outside it is probably just butyl tape. If it is on the inside it is 3M double sided tape.

Thank you for the reply. I actually found a mobile shop that will take care of it for me. So now I do not have to worry if I did it correctly or not.

Here's a shot of the full window a picture of the rubber ring that goes and fills the Gap around the window and secures the window to the inside of the RV and a picture of the channel the rubber has to get into to hold it

Quick update. Found a company out of Sacramento that will remove and replace both windows after they repair the fogging. So I don't have to deal with it.

We would be interested in the name of the company, and what you think of them after the job is completed. Thanks, J and JD

1-916-978-3550 USA replacement auto glass is the company. Ashley is who I am working with. They removed the windows and will be reinstalling them by the beginning of next week.
