Hello all,
I have been experiencing an issue with my Wineguard Trav'ler. It will lock onto the Direct TV satellite, but the signal will not go to my receiver. So, I did some fault finding, with Wineguard, and have summed that the ASM controller in the Turret is the issue. Once aligned to the DTV satellite, I can jump the LNB to my receiver cable input and get signal and TV. I have been trying to get Wineguard to sell me the ASM part, but they said no! They have stated they passed the issue to management, but no reply!! I have to climb on the roof every time we move, to disconnect the cable to be able to align to DTV every time. Does anyone have an old Turret they don't use, and are interested in selling me the ASM control box?? Wineguard doesn't seem to want to help me? Thanks for anything anyone may have to offer!!

On another forum, there was an extensive discussion about the non-support from winegard. All they want you to do is buy new. I had a problem with my wires getting chewed in the gear. It would not lock. I took it apart and wrapped the wires and now it works. I was going to go to RF Mogul
